We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which Cowra Civic Centre is built, the Wiradjuri – the original storytellers, musicians, dancers, artists and culture makers of this region. We acknowledge Elders past, present and emerging.
Energetic folk-rock fusion inspired by a lifetime on the road.
Matt Boylan-Smith & Band will bring the big sound of his recent releases “Somewhere in Soho” & “Follow Me” live to the Cowra Civic Stage. Matt is an engaging performer who likes everyone in the audience to have a good time. It’s this quality that saw him finishing as a finalist in the Bluesfest Busking competition this year.
Opening the afternoon will be Oberon Local Chloe Swannell. If you’ve enjoyed one of the many live performances that she has given in Cowra or around the Central West, well you’ll be in for a treat here. Performing a set of her own original songs, this will be pure Chloe. An organic sound of just voice accompanied by wood & strings.
Come celebrate Ausmusic month with original live music made and played in the Central West. You won’t be able to live stream or download it, you’ve got to be there to experience it.
Arts OutWest is pleased to present in conjunction with The Cowra Civic Centre a series of Live & Kicking sessions featuring the original music of artists from The Central West. Live & Kicking gigs are supported by the Australian Governments Live Music Australia. Grab your tickets now.
