The Cowra Civic Centre Auditorium is a flexible and contemporary venue, ideal for performances, conferences, and community events. With a recent upgrade to its seating and technology, the space offers a dynamic setting adaptable to a wide range of event formats:

At the heart of the space is a small proscenium arch stage with a slight thrust, complete with stairs leading directly to the auditorium floor for easy performer-audience interaction. The stage is supported by two generous dressing rooms located halfway along the backstage crossover, providing ample space and comfort for performers.

The newly installed retractable seating system includes:

4 rows (84 seats)
7 rows (147 seats)
Fully extended (235 seats) with room for additional floor seating to reach full capacity

The Auditorium is equipped with cutting-edge audiovisual features:

A scenery projector that casts vivid images onto the back wall of the stage, with minimal obstruction—even with a 6ft person standing just 1.5m in front
A secondary projector with a motorised mid-stage screen, perfect for presentations and hybrid events

Accessibility is a priority, with ramp access to the main floor and Mobile Connect technology offering assistive hearing and two-way communication—ideal for Q&A sessions, conferences, and inclusive audience engagement.
