Skye Loneragan is an award-winning writer/performer whose work spans theatre, poetry and live art. As well as performing she will be running some free poetry workshops.
These workshops focus on those who would like to perform their own writing, which takes a provocation (such as an image, sound, memory) as a starting point for exploring different ways in to writing your own performance poem and/or monologue.
If participants have a particular piece they want to work on, bring it along, if you just want to try things out, or try performing what interests you, bring that along. There’ll be the chance to share what we work on in a performance on the weekend, an informal gathering to try things out.
